Our company was started by Pai locals and we believe in supporting the local community. All the paid staff and food vendors are local people, and we also help to clean the river at least once a month. We want people to have fun but it is also very important to us to respect the local community and the environment.

We have 1 member of staff
for every 15 customers
and we also have medical personnel on site for anyone who gets a little bit too “tipsy”.

Did you hear that it was one of the most exciting things you can do when you are in South-East Asia? Well, look no further than the Original Tipsy Tubing Company!
Operating out of Pai Authentic Travel Shop, we are the first and famous Tipsy Tubing company here in Pai. We have been running this tour since early 2019 and it quickly became one of the first things both foreign backpackers and local tourists want to do when they come to Pai.
On the day, we will pick you up from your hostel or our shop at 1230pm and take you to our starting point. Here you can buy some drinks, and listen to the first of our three DJs, DJ Jordin, while you wait for everyone to arrive. Now for some tubing!
Float down Pai river, soaking in the beautiful natural environment for around 30 minutes, before reaching our next stop, at Smile Camp. Chill, listen to some music from DJ Lukat, play local games and get to know your fellow tubers. Get back on your tube and continue down the river for another 30-40 minutes to the final stop at the famous River Chillax Bar.
This is where the real party starts! Dance to house, techno, disco, drum and bass, and dancefloor classics from our resident DJ CMC. Enjoy the flowing drinks and bask in the jungle sunshine. Play football, tug of war, or chill. Whether you are a solo traveler or part of a big group, meet new people and have some no-holds-barred fun
We run the event every Tuesday and Friday, from October to May/June. Tickets are available to purchase in our store, or selected hostels in Pai, such as NOLO Hub, Circus, K-Bunk, Mad Monkey, and many others.
